Visit to the Vincents

Hey Everyone!

Today we visited the Vincents, which was really nice!

After a (very yummy!) lunch, we sat and talked a while before going out to see the chickens!

Collecting the eggs was such an unforgettable experience, and I felt so privileged to be a part of that radical moment when the eggs... landed on the ground and smashed. (Oops!! That WAS an accident, by the way!)

After that, we went to see the chicks (who were about 2 days old!), and, wonderfully, we were able to hold them, as well as a 2-day-old duckling! They were just... (to use all the cliche words...) adorable, gorgeous, and super cute!

Abby, Bryce, Maria, and I went for a walk down the driveway to see a neighbour's tree that had fallen over their driveway, crashing two fences; and then up to the hay fields.
